Woodland lakes lodges are luxury boutique lodges for couples with a dog. Our dog friendly accommodation is situated in the beautiful Vale of York. Unsurprisingly York is the nearest city, about twenty five minutes drive from the beautiful Rowan, Cedar, Pine and Oaks lodges.
York has numerous famous attractions such as The Minster, The National Railway Museum, The Castle Museum, The Shambles, The Viking Centre, York Racecourse, East Coast mainline Railway station,The Designer Outlet and the famous city walls.
There are several restaurants that will accommodate all tastes and budgets. Maxis Chinese restaurant, The Viceroy Indian, Del Rio’s Italian, Rice Thai, Little Italy, Pizza Express, Lucia’s,The Star in the City, and a must Betty’s famous tea room.
There are three theatres, The Grand Opera House, The Theatre Royal and The Barbican which are complimented by three cinemas. Everyman, City Screen and Vue.
On the East Yorkshire coast are the sea side resorts of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes, Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Flamborough Head- with its lighthouse.

Additionally road cyclists have an abundance of terrains and quiet roads.
Horse racing enthusiasts are spoilt with the Famous York Races, Beverley Races, Ripon Races,, Wetherby Races and Doncaster Races.

ALL four cosy lodges are luxuriously equipped with high end fixtures and fittings, full underfloor heating and air conditioning. The lounges have 42 inch flat screen TV with Net flux and free view. For those who need to keep in touch with work there is a strong internet signal supplied by Elon Musks Starlink satellite system. All lodges are south facing and benefit from all day sunshine weather permitting.
